Dr. Biswa Ranjan Panda has more than a decade of experience in ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.
After completion of his Cardiothoracic Surgery training in the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, he joined the Paediatric and Congenital ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ division at the Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Cochin. He continued to work as Associate Professor in Paediatric ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ before moving to Australia for further training. He pursued his fellowship in Paediatric ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ at the prestigious ¡°The Children¡¯s Hospital, Westmead¡±, Sydney. Then he moved on to Brisbane to be trained under the living legend in Paediatric ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ, Professor Tom Karl. Before returning to India he also had a period of training in Paediatric ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ at the Royal Children¡¯s Hospital, Melbourne.
His special interests include Cosmetic ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ by small incision ministernotomy/ thoracotomy, Arterial Switch Operation, Paediatric valve repair and replacement, Pectus repair, Health economics. He has published many Original articles and review articles in the reputed Cardiothoracic Journals. |
